Great Erie Federal Credit Union celebrates 70 years of serving the community and its members. Federally chartered in 1952, founding members realized that they could help each other achieve more than they could on their own.

That mentality, people helping people, has remained a core tenant 70 years later.
"Great Erie always has and continues to look ahead at what is possible, all the while honoring and reflecting on where we have been. As GEFCU approaches over 70 years of being in business, this continues to ring true," says Robyn Young, CEO of Great Erie. "We are honored to be the trusted financial institute to our more than 8,300 members as well as being a pillar in the communities we serve."
Activities are being planned for this 2022 anniversary year to celebrate Great Erie's growth and honor our past! We are blessed and welcome members to celebrate with us this year. Great Erie FCU would not exist today as a solid financial institution without our members and the communities we serve. We are thankful for their trust and privilege to care for them and their families for generations.
